27 - Thu - More than flyers found in garbage... Plainfield scholar in Egypt... Fire forces family out...

*
Note: Obituaries and assessments of Jane Jacobs are listed under 'Of Interest'

Tonight is the Mayor's Town Meeting, 6:30 p.m., Washington Community School.
You will want to come out and hear the Mayor and her team give their assessment
of Plainfield at the opening of her term and their plans for the future. Parking is available
in the lot on Spooner Avenue behind the school, as well as on the street.

Along with several hundred people, Flor Gonzalez and I attended the funeral Wednesday
morning of Fausto Fabin Ramos, the man killed by a Plainfield police car last week.
No representative of the City was seen at the church service.
