06 - Thu - 6th Murder of '06... South Avenue plan hearing... Hillside tussle: DeFilippo & Mayor... Budget crisis deepens...

*
The residential development project proposed for South Avenue will have its application continued at a special meeting of the Zoning Board, Wednesday, July 26, 7 PM, City Hall Library.

Chad Weihrauch, who has covered Plainfield for the Courier News for the past three years, is moving on to a business publication elsewhere in NJ. Tomorrow is his last day with the Courier. You may send messages of appreciation to him at cweihrau@gannett.com

Since the Green / Moriarty / Sweeney proposal has helped ignite the state budget debate, all State Budget stories will be posted in the Plainfield section for the duration. -- Dan
