2006 Elections, Scary Ad Dept. - NYT: "Men in Hoods" -- The only audio is a ticking clock. Though the GOP said it was part of a blitz -- garnering considerable FREE publicity -- Dem fact-checking finds only $20K spent on the ad, which will run FEWER (not LESS as their press release says. Sheez!) than 5 times today and tomorrow, and only ONCE on Fox News. It's called 'PHANTOM' advertising, more about publicity than spending precious ad dollars.
